The Minimag came out closely after the 68 Automag as its smaller, dressed up brother. Featuring a vented shroud and short barrel patterned after the Tech9 handgun, it was and instant hit. The Advanced Integrated Regulator remained the same as the 68 Automag but the vertical bottle adapter made it easier for players to keep liquid CO2 out of their markers. The Minimag was scheduled to be discontinued in 1999 but an outcry from players, kept in production. |
